What is the PG30 Headset best suited to? The PG30 headset condenser microphone which is ideally suited to active performers such as an aerobics instructor or singer. It features a comfortable wireframe for secure fit. How does the PG30 Headset Microphone sound? The PG30 is a condenser microphone Condenser microphones are more sensitive, give a smooth, natural sound and need to be powered. Read more Go to the glossarywith a smooth, natural frequency response . Its Cardioidpolar pattern helps prevent feedback and pickup from background sources such as loudspeakers and air conditioning systems. What is the PG58 best suited to? The PG58 has been tuned specifically for vocal applications and is mainly used by amateur/semi-pro lead and backup vocal artists with some experience in live performance. What receiver comes with the PG Wireless Combo System? The PG Wireless Combo System comes with the Analog Wireless dual Receiver BLX88 that provides improved linearity and frequency response This is the range of frequencies, from the lowest to the highest, that a mic can pick up. Read more Go to the glossary. The receiver BLX88 is ready to perform right out of the box and is the clearest choice for performers  who wish to unplug from the wire. How many musicians can use this system simultaneously? Up to 12 compatible channels per group with group and channel scan for easy set-up. Why internal antennas? For ideal signal strength, antennas on a wireless system need to be set up in a certain way. The internal antennas on the BLX receiver are already set in this ideal way, offering up to 100 m operating range and optimal signal strength. Additionally internal antennas cannot be broken during setup, use or transport. Is the setup really that easy? Yes, with one button you can start the group and channel scan, which gives you the best open. Adjust the transmitter to the same channel and you’re ready to go. What does Linearity mean? The proportion between input signal of the transmitter and output signal of the receiver is always constant. What’s the difference between the old and the new PG Wireless System? With the old PG Wireless System PG is the name for the microphones as well as for the receivers. With the new system, the name PG stands for the whole line of microphones in differentiation to SM and Beta microphones. The receivers name is BLX. This receiver is also part of SM and Beta Wireless Systems. The new PG Wireless Systems come with the Analog Wireless Receivers that provide improved linearity and frequency response as well as up to 12 compatible channels per group with group and channel scan for easy set-up. Entry point to professional Shure quality, ruggedness and sound. PG58 Vocal Microphone
